The ambitious “Revitalization 2020-2030” project aims to create diverse habitats and give more space to the watercourse by redesigning gently sloping banks along the entire length of the Petite Glâne between Vallon and Salavaux. The newly created areas can be utilized for agriculture as biodiversity promotion areas (extensive meadows, diverse hedgerows). The project will also optimize drainage discharges into the watercourse, reduce flood risks, and enhance on-site soil by creating protections against overflow events.
