PURPOSES
To support the construction of the Insula building complex in Fully, Valais, by ensuring the safety and technical suitability of the excavation-support and temporary groundwater-lowering systems.

ATG Construction SA, acting as both the client and construction manager for the development, 2025.
WHAT WE DID
GeoBM independently verified the proposed excavation-support systems (Cantilever and internally braced soldier pile walls) using GEO5 and assessed the temporary dewatering scheme through a three-dimensional FEFLOW groundwater model. We also defined the implementation requirements, pumping and water-treatment measures, and monitoring programme for groundwater levels, discharged-water quality, vibrations and structural movements during construction.
